美国佛罗里达轮滑马拉松赛加入WIC（世界杯轮滑马拉松赛）
2021年轮马世界杯柏林站比赛结束后，该赛事将穿越大西洋前往美国，2021年10月17日在佛罗里达州萨拉索塔美丽的本德森公园举。 这是WIC在欧洲、亚洲、南美洲举办赛事后第一次进入北美。该赛事计划2022年继续举办。
The USA Florida Inline Skating Marathon joins the WIC (World Inline Cup) to follow Berlin in 2021
On 04/22/2021 Berlin hosted the WIC & shortly after will cross the ocean to the USA, in Sarasota, Florida to host the race at the beautiful Benderson Park on 10/17/2021.After negotiations with the organizers were finalized, an agreement was reached on a race under the Florida sun on October 17th. Since the race, like the marathon in Dijon, France, will take place after the official final in Berlin, the marathon in Sarasota will receive the status of an Associated World Inline Cup Race.This means that the race will be an official part of the WORLD INLINE CUP. The points will not be included in the overall ranking for this race.
“We are very pleased to be an official part of the WORLD INLINE CUP race circuit with the Florida Inline Skating Marathon in 2021 and are excited about the season in the coming year”, comments Jan Michael Mason, President of the Florida Inline Skating Marathon in Sarasota, Florida.
The organizers expect between 200+ elite skaters along with numerous entry level skaters. Finalized details for the race are being updated daily. TOP CLASS Marathons for 2022 in Florida is already in planning. Be sure to sign up!

“Especially in the current times we are very excited to have set foot in the USA. In addition to Europe, Asia and South America, the WIC has now also arrived in North America. This is a good sign for International Inline Sports and all athletes", said Petr Stastny, President of the WORLD INLINE CUP.
“Since the race will take place in late autumn, we are very confident that the current COVID 19 situation will allow travel to the USA again”, Petr Stastny added.
TOP CLASS Marathon in 2022 in Florida in planning. The Associated Race is intended to being a first step towards an official WORLD INLINE CUP Top Class Race in Florida in 2022 and beyond.
