(Video under the code name "Russians in Lausanne" will most probably come out in November). When I was there, my camera seemed to be the continuation of my hand...<BR>Gray morning, Honduras’ jeep, Twister-Torte for Longman. Torte was wonderful, the team entertained all Sheremetyevo visitors, talked loudly, laughed and congratulated its tallest member - Vovka! Torte with Twister image was a great fun.<BR>We had a nice fly, we didn’t even fall.<BR>And there we are in the midst of summer!!!<BR>Wow, that’s the way people live... up to + 30 in the shade. No wonder, the country is rich, they pay enough and in time to someone who is responsible for the weather.<BR>And in that fucking Russia, look here, we had only 4 weeks of good weather that summer. <BR>We go on. A lonely twister on a luggage tape, ATM exchanging dollars for local "buy-with" (it regards half of our dollars as fake and does not accept them), express-train to Lausanne, second floor - what fun!, Lausanne, underground - funny station going down at some strange angle, and we come out on the Ushi embankment (the emphasis is on "i"). <BR>A big cloud is drawing near, and we rush to the stop.<BR>In general, public transport functions well in Lausanne, and it seems to function well in the rest of the country. Everything is superb, new, noiseless and fast. And everything moves according to schedule! One minus - all’s a bit too dear in our estimation.<BR>We arrive at Jeunotel - a temporary living place for the young. Hoity-toity fazenda!<BR>In a week we begin to feel quite at home. Faber, Biscuit, Longman and I are taken to a "four-bed" room. Window as large as a door looks onto a small inner yard. A special trunk right under the window is very convenient for coming in and out. Everybody, except Vasya, is living in the neighboring rooms. He is accommodated in a luxurious double in another wing.<BR>Malikovs are discovered in a nearby camping where they leased a plot, made a camp and were living in it... How they happened not to be flushed away by the night shower is a riddle.<BR>What next? Having fixed ourselves in the place, Katya Dikushkina and I march to look for a place where local fishkers skate.<BR>Ushi is a picturesque place: clean and large lake with the mountains looming on the opposite side, sometimes the clouds are going down below the tops... Berths, yachts, big vessels - everything like it should be. All’s very clean and decent, by the way, like in the rest of the town. People are not afraid to get smudged, they sit down right on the asphalt.<BR>Katya and I are the first to find the marking right where Vovka said it should be. The asphalt cover is slightly, but noticeably worse than in Poklonny Hill, IMHO. And the side slide is a separate talk! One is drifted away from the track, as chances have it. But we get used to it in four days. I’ll tell you more about the asphalt cover some time later when I describe the competition.<BR>Soon Faber and Longman come down. Vasya and Biscuit, who dropped right after the "yesterday’s jigger", are still asleep. They get up mumbling and grumbling for not being awaken in time. When I start rolling, I remember about my camera and rush back to the hotel, I reach it in 15 minutes (record!), and now can shoot this epochal event - our first training session. Skaters roll in Ushi, right near the huge chess - five-wheelers, quaders and other rollers, many people are just walking... People gather on the benches and balustrade, they watch our training session. We collect spectators night after night. Only one roller is a local slalomists. But he is reall 艺术！！ 看看就是一种享受 好看 行云流水 <P>好东东啊!!!!!</P>
