GyroWheels is using up-to-date technology to produce the best inline skate wheels ever created. We have contracted scientist which are specialised in nano-technology and material engineering.
What is Nanotechnology?
Nanotechnology, or, as it is sometimes called, molecular manufacturing, is a branch of engineering that deals with the design and manufacture of extremely small electronic circuits and mechanical devices built at the molecular level of material. The Institute of Nanotechnology in the U.K. expresses it as "science and technology where dimensions and tolerances in the range of 0.1 nanometre to 100 nm play a critical role." Nanotechnology is often discussed together with micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), a subject that usually includes nanotechnology but may also include technologies higher than the molecular level. A nanometre is a unit of spatial measurement that is 10-9 meter or one billionth of a meter.
We, GyroWheels, used the nanotechnology to develop highly advanced products. We developed our own technology that can apply Inorganic-nano-particles to Poly Urethane resin for inline skating wheels. This technology makes that GyroWheels have special grip power and high anti-abrasion.
Advantages compared to other brands:
1. Maximized surface contact area by using the concept of the Snow Tire theory.
2. Maximize anti-abrasion by using Nano sized Inorganic / metallic particles.
Yellowing effect in Poly-Urethane
Usually Polyurethane has a good property of matter. Anyhow, it also has some problems. Those are Yellowing by Ultraviolet rays, Nitrogen oxidation, or high temperature. Yellowing causes cracking, lower the property of matter, etc. This yellowing problems give lots of troubles to Inline skate producers in everywhere. We, Gyro wheels, have developed a technology that can protect the Poly Urethane Wheels from yellowing by Ultraviolet rays, Nitrogen oxidation, or high temperature. |
