Rossignol : The Arrival of a French Giant (available 2004 August)
Skateline is proud to bring you inline skates from the summer department of Rossignol, one of the oldest names in sports. Many of the top inline makers today like K2 (USA) and Salomon (France) have a strong history in the ski business, and Rossignol has been making skis earlier than both. Rossignol skis have won Olympic championships as early as 1937, long before Salomon or K2 even got into the business. If this is any indication of Rossignol’s inline skate collection, skaters can have high expectations.
No one will be dissappointed with the Rossignol’s 2004 inline skate (ILS) collection. In fact, be overwhelmed.
Expect design sohpistication, quality and high technology. This will be a brand favoured by serious skaters. Rossignol is also the first major brand to build double walled frames for fitness/recreation skates withDWT (double wall technology). DWT offers the stiff response and power transfer. This technology was first made popular by Dutch speed skating maker MOGEMA with the competition-proven DUAL BOX technology. Another big feature skate enthusiasts will welcome is Rossignol’s adoption of the international double-slot frame mounting (also a speed skating standard). That means skaters wearing Rossignol skates can mix and match any Rossignol frame and boots. Fila is the only other skate maker using this mounting system.
